1. Our Privacy Commitment

Sahih Islam is created with deep reverence for Islamic values. We do not sell, rent, trade, or distribute your personal information to third-party data brokers. We treat your prayer schedules, Quran readings, and spiritual reflections as deeply personal and confidential.

2. Device Permissions (Strictly User-Controlled)

Our application operates with minimal permissions. Any sensitive hardware permission is requested strictly with your explicit consent and can be revoked at any time in device settings:

• Location Permission (User-Controlled): Requested strictly with your explicit consent on your device. Used to calculate astronomical local prayer times and real-time Qibla direction directly on your device. When you actively choose to use the 'Nearby Masjids' feature, your coordinates are rounded to 3 decimal places (~100-meter precision) and transmitted securely over TLS to our backend solely to calculate distances and return nearby mosques within your radius. Your location coordinates are transiently processed for this query and are never persistently logged, tracked, or shared to profile your movements.
• Notification Permission (User-Controlled): Requested strictly with your explicit consent to deliver optional Athan prayer alarms, prayer countdown alerts, and daily inspirational Ayahs. You can turn notifications on or off at any moment in phone settings.

3. Information We Collect

• Account Details: When registering via Email or Google Sign-In, we store your display name and email address to synchronize your bookmarks, reading progress, and verified Pro subscriptions across devices.
• App Preferences: Your chosen language, reciter audio preferences, and prayer calculation conventions (e.g. Karachi, Umm al-Qura).
• Diagnostic Data: Anonymized crash telemetry and device compatibility metrics to ensure high software stability.

4. AI Search & Enterprise Providers

When you ask questions in our AI Islamic Search, your query text and up to 12 recent messages of conversational context are transmitted securely over TLS to our backend. We utilize verified Islamic retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and enterprise AI model providers (including DeepSeek, OpenRouter, Google Gemini, xAI Grok, and HuggingFace) to synthesize authentic, citation-backed answers. Quran recitation audio, Qaida audio, and Tafseer data are streamed securely via Cloudflare R2. In addition, community event submissions, marketplace products, and advertisements undergo automated compliance screening powered by DeepSeek-Flash to enforce modesty and Islamic ethical standards. For nearby masjid discovery, coordinates are rounded to approximately 100-meter precision (~3 decimal places) to minimize location tracking. User prompts and moderation data are never sold, rented, or used for model training or cross-site ad targeting.

5. Payment Processing & Advertising Integrity

When purchasing Sahih Pro or funding ad wallets, transactions are processed exclusively by certified PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant gateways: Google Play Billing, Razorpay, and Apple App Store verification. We never store credit card numbers, CVVs, or UPI PINs on our servers. For advertising, Google AdMob displays strictly G-rated Halal-filtered ads (disabled during Quran reading and prayers), while our internal AADS network serves verified halal Muslim business promotions without third-party tracking.

6. Account Deletion Rights

You retain the absolute right to delete your account and all associated reading history at any time directly in the app under Settings → Delete Account, or by emailing [email protected]. All personal records are purged permanently within 30 days.
